Popular APC Senator calls for Buhari’s sack

POLITICS NIGERIA had reported that opposition Senators are pushing for President Buhari to face impeachment, 10-months before the end of his second term in office, over the country’s spreading security problems. 2023: Ex-minister asks court to disqualify Tinubu, Atiku for bribing delegates Former Minister Of state for education, Emeka Nwajiuba A FORMER Minister of State for Education Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba has asked an Abuja Federal High Court to disqualify All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidates Bola Tinubu and Abubakar Atiku, respectively, from the 2023 general election. Nwajiuba, who resigned his ministerial position to contest the APC presidential primary, also asked the court to declare him th e authentic candidate of the party. The minister, in conjunction with a group, Incorporated Trustees of Rights for All International (IRA), is also praying for the cancellation of the votes garnered by Atiku and Tinubu in the APC and PDP presidential primaries. Gunmen Invade Zuba In Abuja News Source: Nigerian Tribune Gunmen on Thursday night invaded Zuba, a town under Gwagwalada area council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), bordering Niger State, shooting in the process. A resident of Zuba confirmed to Nigerian Tribune, on condition of anonymity that gunshots were heard in the town and friends and family were making calls to their loved ones to rush home and inquire about their safety. Residents of Zuba had earlier posted on social media platforms warning about the gunshots heard in Zuba, advising people heading in the direction to turn back.
